Visit Lincolnshire has been supporting the Aviation Heritage Lincolnshire (AHL) partnership launch their new campaign to local residents and visitors.A recent press trip in April produced outstanding national coverage in the Telegraph plus the Sunday Express and Press Association titles.
The latest activity, to pay tribute to Fighter Command based in Lincolnshire during WW2, has been covered by local and regional press with a three night special feature on BBC Look North (Tuesday 29 June - Thursday 1 July 2010), as well as coverage on ITV Calendar News and Radio Lincolnshire.
A number of high profile events have taken place with dignitaries attending from across the world. The events included ‘A Tribute to the Nation’, ‘Canada Day’ and ‘Tribute to the American Eagle Squadrons’ from WW2.
